What is dancing?

Most of all it should be fun, while learning the movements to the music, it should
be good exercise, very sociable and introduce you to many new friends, enable you
to enjoy numerous dance events and functions.

My aim when teaching is to provide people of all ages with the tuition to enable
them to dance around the floor comfortably together in several dances. Experience
the enjoyment of dancing to beautiful music, for example the elegant Ballroom
Dances, which are Social Foxtrot, Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz
and the exciting, passionate Latin American Dances of Rumba, Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Paso
Doble, Jive, also Argentine Tango – Latino - Merengue, Salsa and lots of fun dances.

I have danced since I was very young and took up teaching as a career. Dancing has taken me to many exciting place and I have represented England, as a junior competitor in Holland and Germany, also in the Ken Bateman and Blanche Ingle Winning Formation Team. I have met very many interesting people, also appeared in Television programmes.

I take enormous pleasure in teaching and developing good quality dancers, the enjoyment and satisfaction my pupils show in their achievements and the pleasure they find in the company of others who also enjoy dancing, is the greatest reward for me.
